why do i write?

Why do i write?

i write to express my feelings and vent my frustrations.
i write so that my voice will be heard, not lost in the crowd.
i write in hopes that someone will understand relate sympathize.
i write because communication is key.
i write because the paper won't laugh.
the paper won't turn away.
the paper will always listen.
i write to feel like i'm doing something constructive with my time,
to feel like i'm not a complete slacker.
i don't write for hardcore scene points.
i do write because i'm a silly girl and clumsy too.
i write because somehow it makes me feel like my problems aren't trivial.
i write because i have trouble expressing myself vocally,
but can't keep it all trapped inside.
i write because i miss colleen, robby, borja, eli, and sometimes still jacob.
i write because i don't see amaina often enough.
i write because i can be a strong empowered woman on paper.
i wrte because i'm not satisfied with myself
and writing helps me figure out what the heck is going on in my head.
